Do I need a licence?—No, a boating licence is not required, though an operator must have a valid driver’s licence and sign the following:

What are the Transport Canada safety rules?—Our Rental Boat Safety Check List is based on the recommended sample extracted from the document found here on their website.

Where are you located?—Our business operates out of Summerland but without moorage or office space, expenses the other boat rental companies have: it enables us to pass those savings along to you. Tell us what you need and we’ll bring the boating equipment to you; launching it at the most convenient boat launch spot nearest your hotel, campground or B&B.

Do I need to bring a life jacket?—Certainly bring along any equipment that you might have, though we provide all of the safety equipment that you will need.

Do you have wakeboards, skis, tubes?—All of our boats come with equipment for waterskiing; a set of water ski’s and a tow-rope. Just ask us to add your favourite water toys for wake-boarding or tubing.

Will you show me how to use the boat/equipment?—Our water sports equipment is thoroughly maintained and detailed instructions on their use are provided in a preliminary on-site orientation which outlines and conforms to Canadian Coast Guard standards.

We consider all aspects of our customers’ safety.

By this we mean that our water sports equipment is thoroughly maintained and that detailed instructions on their use are provided, both in a Safety Tips Sheet and a preliminary on-site orientation which outlines and conforms to Canadian Coast Guard standards.
